How TMS Works
TMS, or Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, is a non-invasive therapy that stimulates specific regions of the brain. During a TMS session, a magnetic coil is placed near the scalp, creating painless magnetic pulses.
Recent studies have shown that people experiencing pain or distress often have increased brain activity in a region called the anterior cingulate gyrus. TMS harnesses the power of magnetic fields to modulate brain activity – reducing pain and improving your quality of life.

Common Side Effects
One of the most significant advantages of TMS therapy is its minimal side effects. Common side effects are generally mild and include mild scalp discomfort and occasional headache, which typically subside after each session. What is the process for TMS?
Typically, patients receive five treatments per week, over a course of six weeks. After the one-time setup process, each treatment session ranges between 3-37 minutes.
